Managing large deployments

We keep large deployments under control – partners handle delivery

Format
A long-term engagement, scoped to the project

One accountable point of contact. Partners handle delivery, we make sure it fits your strategy.

You can take on a large AI deployment without being dependent on a single vendor. We own the strategy, the selection and coordination of partners, and oversight of the result; vetted technology partners deliver the development under our direction.

We’re not a systems integrator, and we don’t want to be one. We’re an independent senior orchestrator: we pick the right partners, connect the deployment to your strategy and adoption, and make sure the result is what you actually need. We don’t sell you our own development team – we don’t have one to sell, so nothing pushes us toward “our” solution. We always explain our partner choices, the vendor decision is yours, and our fee is separate from the price of their delivery.

Sound familiar?

  • You’re facing a large AI deployment, and every vendor is pushing their own solution. What’s missing is someone who isn’t looking through their own product and protects your interest, not their development budget.
  • You’re worried about vendor lock-in. One vendor, one technology, one dependency – and when it doesn’t work, you have no leverage and no second opinion.
  • You don’t have the internal capacity to run a project like this at a senior level. You need someone who understands both strategy and technology and keeps vendors in line, but you don’t want to hire an expensive team just for that.
  • You’ve already seen an AI project that technically “worked” but delivered nothing to the business. The deployment lived outside the strategy and outside the people meant to use it. You want the assurance it won’t happen again.
We keep a large AI deployment under control, owning the strategy, partner selection and coordination, and oversight of the result, while vetted partners deliver the development under our direction.

What you get

  • Independent partner selection and coordination – based on what you need, not on who pays us. We assess partners on track record with similar deployments, capacity, technology, and price, then manage the vendor team as one whole.
  • A link between the deployment and your strategy and adoption – we make sure what partners build fits your AI strategy and that it’s followed by real adoption among people, not just a handed-over system.
  • Governance and senior oversight of the result – milestones, quality, risk, budget, and compliance (including the AI Act) under one accountable point of contact for the whole deployment.
  • One accountable point of contact instead of scattered responsibility – you talk to us, we hold the partners accountable, and when something’s stuck, we’re the ones who fix it, not you.

How it works

  1. Initial project assessment – we go through the scope, goals, and context of the deployment; we check whether you already have a diagnostic and strategy in place, or what’s missing. We don’t go into orchestration without a clear strategy and priorities.
  2. Brief and partner selection – we translate the strategy into a brief for vendors, approach suitable partners, and help pick the right team for your needs (technology, price, track record), not whoever happens to be close to us.
  3. Setting up governance – milestones, deliverables, way of working, reporting, risks, and compliance. We define who’s accountable for what, so responsibility is clear, not scattered.
  4. Orchestrating delivery – partners build, we coordinate, check quality against the brief, clear obstacles, and keep the deployment aligned with the strategy.
  5. Linking to adoption and handover – we make sure the result actually moves into practice (continuing into the adoption program), rather than just being handed over and left sitting in a system.

How we work together

Orchestration doesn’t come in fixed packages – every large deployment is different. The scope of our involvement is set to the project:

  • Orchestrating the whole deployment – we lead the project from partner selection to handover; you have one accountable point of contact for the whole duration.
  • Senior oversight of an ongoing project – you already have a vendor or an internal team and need independent senior oversight, governance, and a link to strategy, not a vendor swap.
  • Partner selection and brief setup – an initial phase where we help pick the right partners and set up the brief and governance; after that you run the project yourself, or bring us in for ongoing oversight.

Both the scope and the shape of the collaboration are always tailored to the project (size of the deployment, number and type of partners, length of the engagement). Our orchestration fee is separate from partner delivery, and we communicate it transparently. We agree the exact scope at the initial project assessment.

Governance also includes a contractual framework for data: we make sure partners access your data only within the project’s scope and under the proper agreements, including data processing agreements where personal data is involved.

FAQ

Why don’t you do the development yourselves?
It’s a deliberate strategic choice. We don’t build a large internal development team, so we have nothing to push on you. That’s exactly what lets us select partners independently and stand on your side. A systems integrator selling you their own development will never have that independence.
Who actually delivers the deployment?
Vetted technology partners (vendors, systems integrators, specialized firms) under our direction. We own the strategy, selection, coordination, governance, and oversight of the result; they deliver the actual build. We’re upfront about that from the start.
How do you choose partners?
Based on the project’s needs – technology, track record, capacity, price, cultural fit. We have a network of vetted partners, but we’re not tied to it; when someone outside it is better for you, we go to them. We always explain our choice, the decision is yours.
Who’s accountable for the result?
We’re accountable for orchestration, governance, and alignment with the strategy – we’re your one accountable point of contact. The partner is contractually accountable for the technical delivery itself. We set it up so accountability is clear, not scattered.
What about price and margin?
Our orchestration fee is separate from partner delivery, and we communicate it transparently. We don’t live off a hidden markup on development – that would undercut the whole reason you’d call us. The goal is for you to pay a fair market price for delivery, not a markup through us.
What if we already have a vendor?
That’s fine. We can come in as independent senior oversight for an ongoing project – governance, quality, and a link to strategy and adoption – without replacing your vendor.
Aren’t you just an expensive extra layer?
You’re paying for what you either don’t have internally or don’t want to build: independent senior oversight that keeps vendors in line, connects the deployment to strategy and adoption, and takes responsibility for the project delivering real value to the business. On large deployments, the cost of a badly chosen or unmanaged project is typically far higher than the orchestration itself.
When is this not for us?
When the deployment is small or bounded – then AI assistants and automations is the right service, not full orchestration. And when you don’t yet have a clear strategy and priorities – then we start with the diagnostic and strategy.

Next step

A large AI deployment doesn’t fail on technology – it fails because no one holds it together with the strategy and the people. That’s exactly the place we stand, and it’s why we don’t need to sell you development.
