AI diagnostics

We map out where AI will help you and what to do first

Duration
Typically 2–4 weeks from kick-off, depending on cooperation and how closely the plan is followed
Format
Fixed scope. Output: a report plus recommendations for leadership.

We map out where AI will genuinely help you – and what to do first.

Independently, based on your own company’s data, with a clear plan and an initial estimate of the payoff. Instead of another training session with no impact, or a vendor pushing their own product, you get an independent view built on your own processes: what’s worth doing, what can wait, and what’s just hype.

No more guessing where to start. A few weeks, and you have a map.

Sound familiar?

  • You’re trying AI in several places, but no one can say what’s actually saving time or money. There’s enthusiasm, but no system behind it.
  • You suspect your competitors are further ahead, but you don’t know exactly where to start. And you don’t want another one-off project that fizzles out after a month.
  • Every vendor recommends something different – one pushes a chatbot, another agents, a third training. What’s missing is someone who isn’t looking through the lens of their own product.
  • You’re considering an AI investment but don’t want to spend it on the wrong thing. You need to know what makes sense for you specifically, before you decide.
An independent AI diagnostic – an AI audit of your processes and opportunities built on your own company's data: it maps out where AI can genuinely help you and what to do first, with a fixed scope and a report built for leadership.

What you get

  • A map of opportunities – a prioritized list of concrete opportunities for your company, ranked by impact and effort. Not a generic list off the internet, but one that fits your processes and your data.
  • An initial payoff estimate – for each opportunity, an initial (rough) estimate of savings (time/cost) and deployment effort, so you know what to tackle first and what can wait.
  • A read on your company’s AI readiness – where you stand across 4 areas (leadership and direction, people and skills, process and deployment, sustainability and governance), naming your weakest spot.
  • A proposed set of next steps and a rough EU AI Act readiness overview – a concrete proposal of possible steps plus an overview of the topics the regulation requires from you (including AI literacy for your people, which already applies). This isn’t a legal opinion – for legal questions we’ll recommend checking with a qualified advisor.

The call on “what first” isn’t made on a gut feeling in a meeting room – it’s made on facts. The diagnostic is the first step that turns “we’re trying AI” into “we know where we’re headed.”

How it works

  1. Kick-off (2 hours) – we align on goals with leadership and choose which areas or departments are in scope.
  2. Gathering context – 2–4 short, targeted interviews with key people, plus an online diagnostic and a tailored assessment.
  3. Analysis and mapping – identifying and prioritizing opportunities by impact versus effort, an initial payoff estimate, and a rough EU AI Act readiness overview.
  4. Report and recommendations for leadership – delivering the map of opportunities, the proposed next steps, and a recommended first move; walked through together.

Options

  • Diagnostic Focus – one department or process; a fast entry point, ideal for a first proof of value.
  • Diagnostic Company-wide – company-wide scope across departments; the basis for a strategy and an adoption program.

Scope

  • Your time (Focus option): a 2-hour kick-off and 2–4 short interviews with key people. The rest is our work.
  • Company-wide option: the number of interviews, materials, and timeline depend on the number of departments and the agreed scope – a fair company-wide assessment can’t be done from the same amount of input as a single process.
  • Who needs to be involved: someone from leadership (direction and priorities) and people who know the real processes in scope.
  • Data and confidentiality: we work with what you have; sensitive information is handled confidentially, and we’ll sign an NDA before starting if needed.

The diagnostic has a fixed scope and a price agreed in advance – no open-ended billing. We’ll work out which option and scope makes sense for you in the initial consultation.

FAQ

Is the AI diagnostic the same thing as an AI audit?
If by AI audit you mean an audit of your processes, data readiness and AI opportunities – yes, that’s this service: an independent assessment with a map of opportunities, priorities and an estimated payoff. It is not a security, legal or compliance audit of AI systems. We call it a diagnostic because it doesn’t end with findings – it ends with a recommendation of what to do first.
Isn’t this just another audit that ends up in a drawer?
No – the output is a prioritized plan with an estimated payoff and a concrete first step. The document stands on its own and doesn’t commit you to continuing with us: you can carry out the work internally, with us, or with another vendor.
Do we need our data and IT in order first?
No. It certainly helps, but the diagnostic works with what you have; it also includes an assessment of your data and process readiness.
How fast are the results?
A fixed scope of 2–4 weeks from kick-off, depending on cooperation and how closely the plan is followed.
How much of our internal time does it take?
For the Focus option, a 2-hour kick-off and 2–4 short interviews. For a company-wide scope, the number of interviews is agreed based on the number of departments. The rest is our work.
Who from our side needs to be involved?
Someone from leadership (direction and priorities) and 2–4 people who know the real processes in scope.
Is it confidential?
Yes. We handle sensitive information confidentially and will sign an NDA before starting if needed.
What if we find out AI doesn’t make sense yet?
We’ll say so directly – an honest “large-scale rollout can still wait” – and recommend partial steps and gradual rollout instead of a poorly deployed project.
What comes after the diagnostic?
Depending on your weakest area and priorities: strategy and roadmap, role-based training, a solution pilot, or an adoption program. The diagnostic is an entry gate, not a commitment to continue.
