Media outlets often reach out to me for commentary on AI trends and current developments – the interest in AI is growing rapidly.

A major summit on the future of artificial intelligence took place in Paris, where experts and leaders discussed its safe use and further development. The main topic was finding a balance between regulations and innovation, as strict rules could slow down technological progress. New investments were also announced to support responsible AI development. Branislav Šmidt joined moderator Stanislava Kováčik on JOJ 24 to discuss the summit’s challenges and takeaways.

In the podcast by the AI Association for TREND, Braňo discussed why AI should be a strategic topic for the entire leadership team – not just IT. He spoke about the difference between managers who’ve actually tried AI versus those who only talk about it, about hybrid teams combining people and digital agents, and the key barriers slowing AI adoption in companies. As Braňo put it: “AI isn’t something to fear – it’s a tool. The hardest part is to stop thinking the old way and just start.”

AI-related scams are on the rise. At Transformio, we feel responsible for raising awareness about possible AI misuse. Not out of fear – but for safety. Responsible and secure AI usage is part of our DNA. That’s why we also participated in a report about fraudulent campaigns that exploit AI.

AI expert Braňo Šmidt joins Kamil Aujeský on the podcast to discuss the possibilities AI brings. Will it make us virtually immortal?

Elon Musk introduced a new AI model, Grok-2, capable of generating images with almost no restrictions. The move sparked immediate criticism due to concerns over misuse and copyright infringement. Branislav Šmidt, an expert in generative AI, shared insights on the topic.

In this episode of Maxman Studio, Lukáš Bakoš and Braňo Šmidt talk about how AI can improve managerial decisions, which tasks it already handles reliably, and where human judgment is still needed. They also touch on broader societal impacts and the challenges AI brings.

“If someone resists AI, they might be replaced.”

A new AI system can now generate realistic videos based on text prompts. The rise of such technologies led to the creation of a new European AI authority. Moderator Pavol Michalka and guest Branislav Šmidt discussed these developments on Studio 24.

From the approval of the EU AI Act to the rise of new language models, AI is shaking up the tech world. Michal Farkašovský spoke with Branislav Šmidt on Studio 24 about the latest regulatory changes.

The European Union has introduced new rules for artificial intelligence. Experts say we’re the first in the world to take such a step, potentially setting an example for countries outside the EU. Branislav Šmidt shared his take on the matter.

“I’m curious how violations will be evaluated,” said Branislav Šmidt in an interview.

Dangerous deepfake videos are spreading across social media. These manipulated clips use AI to impersonate public figures and spread misinformation or scam products.

The finance minister and president became targets of deepfake videos. How do these manipulations work and how can we spot them? Braňo Šmidt explains the risks and offers tips on how to protect yourself from AI-powered disinformation.
